So, it's 18 now. The real life. Adulthood.
I think I can handle that with my new badass Drive jacket my sister gave me as a birthday present. I think it was even better than all of the money I got.
In case you missed some of the posts, here's a complete list of all 18 Upcoming Adult posts.
I really enjoyed doing this blogathon - never thought I would actually make it through all 18 days (in which I wrote 20 posts!).
Thanks to everyone who read the posts, or any other post on this blog - except for the spammers, seriously, there's no point in spamming this blog so f*ck off! - and everyone who celebrated my birthday with me.
ZOMGOMGGMOOMGOMGMG DRIVE JACKET!!!!! Best. Gift. Ever.
ReplyDeleteI KNOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!
Deletea great gift indeed, congrats! I'll have to catch up on some of these lists!
ReplyDeleteThank you :D
DeleteCool jacket :)
ReplyDeleteIn blogger, if you go to settings/posts and comments , you can change to Comment Moderation. Then you can control spam. All that spam is also annoying for those who subscribe to the comments by e-mail.
Yes :). You've seen Drive, haven't you?
DeleteI was thinking of changing to comment moderation... thanks for the recommendation!
Where did your sister get that jacket from? It's so god damn awesome it hurts. All the ones I have seen online have either been really crappy, or really expensive. Your one is so cool, though!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, too, and hope the day was sweeettt!
Where can I get that jacket? I love that jacket.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! And yes, where can you get that jacket??? And for how much???
ReplyDeleteTo all of you: My sister tells me that she had to search many sites, and that the jacket is from petorucci.com.
ReplyDeleteNeedless to say, that is an awesome jacket. And that cabin in the background looks cool too.
ReplyDeleteIt's an old mill and I'm looking at it from my window right now :)
DeleteFrom my window all I can see is a big apartment building. It's kind of like a boring sequel to "Rear Window" where everyone's curtains are always closed.
DeleteI think I should watch Rear Window then, to picture that :)
Delete"I think it was even better than all of the money I got." - Of course it was! Such careful thought and effort in getting the perfect gift, much better than mere money. :)
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the blogathon - 20 posts was an astonishing commitment, especially leading up to such a significant life milestone. It was very generous of you to give up so much time to compose and publish posts that, as always, provided both insight into your view of films and glimpses of your evolving world view too. I hope you're going to give yourself the gift of a well-deserved blogging break for a bit.
Phew, I am! Definitely!
DeleteI'm very happy you appreciate what I did here, it really was hard work - but wonderful work too.
Happy birthday! And BITCHIN' jacket! Wear that thing with pride, you Driver you.
ReplyDeleteThanks - I will! (How could I not? :) )
DeleteThat's a pretty nice jacket. Not just nice, but so cool. Possibly greatest gift ever?
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, and enjoy your 18 year old days :)
Yes, quite possibly :D.
DeleteThanks, Andina, nice to see you around!
Belated Happy Birthday!! Hope you had an awesome time.
ReplyDeleteThank you, CS - I did!
DeleteMette that jacket looks totally bad ass on you :-) I love it. But where is your hammer? ;-) Congrats and belated birthday wishes. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks. I got rid of the hammer before the police could find it.
