I'm a Blind Young Lady

The one and only Ryan McNeil is hosting his famous Blind Spot blogathon again next year, and this time, I'm all in. I'm going to watch 12 movies that I've never seen before, but feel very inclined to do. They may have won Best Picture, they may have been major Box-Office successes or they may simply be quite acclaimed. So here are my 12 movies and the months I'm going to (hopefully) watch them in:

January
Apocalypse Now

February
Memento

March
American History X

April
Léon (The Professional)

May
Rear Window

June
12 Angry Men

July
Once Upon a Time in the West

August
Se7en

September
City of God

October
Goodfellas

November
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

December

It's a Wonderful Life

I can't wait to start!

I've seen all of these and I can't wait to read your thoughts on them, for better and for worse.

    1. I knew that was going to happen. It has good and bad sides to be a young movie enthusiast. Anyway, I can't wait to make up for some of my lack of knowledge.
      So yep, here's to 2014!

  2. Oo nice! I have see all except Once Upon a Time in West and all of them are really good/great.

LOVE Se7en, City of God, Memento, 12 Angry Men, Rear Window and Leon and really liked the rest.

  3. Awesome list! I've seen all of these, and I can't find a bad pick in the bunch! It's a really strong group of films.

    1. Yes, they're the highest films from the IMDB Top 250 that I've not seen yet. I thought that was a safe way to go, and after all, I've only heard good things about all of these.

    1. Even though I haven't seen many must-see films, I can at least make a list of them, hahah. I hope you have fun with the results too.

    1. Can't wait to see it! Apart from what's in the box, I know next to nothing about the plot, luckily.

  6. Almost forgot - for Apocalypse Now, go for the original cut. The Redux is great, but it's a bit offputting to be coming into for the first time.
